SmartZTP app

The SmartZTP app is installed on the driver’s smartphone. The data collected in the app are being transferred to the LabSys system, which also receives the results of raw materials laboratory tests. The whole of the data collected is managed in the microWAG system prepared by Wikpol, which couples all the processes associated with the collection of raw materials.

In the laboratory, the content of sugar is measured by means of a polarimeter, or a computerized analyzer.

The lab robot has been equipped with a special gripper designed to handle the laboratory equipment and devices, such as:

  • a saw cutter
  • a homogenizer
  • a dispensing scale for reagents
  • a washing station for washing and drying bowls and cups
  • a suspension filtration station
  • a reagent preparation tank
  • a polarimeter and betalyser

The LABORATORY

The benefits offered by the lab robot go substantially beyond an increased capacity.

SIMPLE OPERATION
The laboratory equipped with the robot does not require any direct operation – the only activities (performed once every shift) are topping up sulfate solution in the tank, and collecting used filtration tissue.
MULTIPURPOSE
The lab robot handles end-to-end the analysis processes: from sampling through operating the laboratory equipment and devices, up to identifying samples, and collecting the results in the database. Additionally, it washes and dries the containers, and equipment after each use.
IT WORKS CONTINUOUSLY
The lab robot works continuously 24 hours a day 7 days a week guaranteeing a capacity of 50 samples/h.
IT ELIMINATES ERRORS
The robot eliminates errors related to making the samples, and designating them. This results from the control system registering and identifying the samples automatically (eliminating traditional labels), and gathering the information obtained in the LabSys database system. The application of the robot ensures laboratory analyses performed smoothly.
RELIABLE
The lab robot helps significantly decrease the failure rate at the laboratory, and thus increase its availability (no failure-prone mechanical elements).

ELIMINATING THE DEPENDENCIES BETWEEN SAMPLING AND ANALYSIS

The role of the buffering station consists in storing raw material samples until the beginning of the tests at the laboratory. The samples are accepted, stored, released for analysis, and also identified fully automatically.

The buffer’s capacity has been designed for handling the largest possible magnitude of raw material deliveries, and for ensuring stabile operation of the analytical laboratory.
