Product:

The palletization of both loose 1kg unit packages and also 10x1kg multipacks.

Capacity:

The line's capacity: 120 1kg packages per minute (60t/8h).

Robot station:

The line consists of:

  • an assembly of conveyors which transport unit packages from two Hesser packing machines to two devices which form multipacks.
  • a multipack picking and packing module which is to be moved by a robot (4 x 10kg multipack or 20 x 1kg bag).
  • a FANUC Robotics M-410iC palletizing robot equipped with a vacuum gripper for collecting multipacks with a function of picking up paper spacers being placed at the bottom of the pallets and between the layers.
  • an automatic pallet feeder.
  • pallet conveyors.
  • an automatic pallet wrapper.
  • the line's control system built on the basis of a GEFanuc PLC series 90-30.

The line works fully automatic.

Additional information:

The line is being operated simply by periodically topping the pallet magazine, the paper spacers magazine, and the wrapping film magazine up. The pallets packed are transported to the warehouse, from where they are taken away with forklifts.
