Product:

  1. Collecting ceramic fittings from a belt conveyor and placing on kiln cars.
  2. The robot places defective fittings onto a pallet.
  3. The shortest pressing cycle takes 20 s and in this time the robot picks 2 fittings.
  4. Provide for collecting fittings from the conveyor and placing on a buffer station when kiln cars are being replaced.
  5. Applying a movable guarding system, which offers access with a forklift truck to the press in order to replace the mold.

Robot station:

The solution uses an R-2000iB 125L type robot equipped with a gripper designed to pick up one fitting from the belt conveyor of the press and laying it on kiln cars.

Work head:

The robot's head is equipped with a sensor, which specifies the height at which the robot should lay the fittings on the first layer of the kiln car.

Description of operation:

The fittings with incorrect weights are placed aside by the robot on a pallet dedicated for this.
