The robotized palletizing and packaging lines are highly efficient, which is correlated with the capacity of the production lines. An optimized line, which uses only one robot, could palletize the production of an average sized plant.
The high efficiency of the palletizing and packaging lines results not only from the pace of the robot’s operation, which is able to flawlessly stack a significant number of elements in a unit of time. The fact that the palletizing robots work without breaks in the 24 hours mode is also very important.
WHAT IS THE PALLETIZING CAPACITY OF OUR LINES?
The capacity of the palletizing and packaging lines per hour:
The examples presented describe the realistic capacity of the palletizing and packaging lines obtained at selected production plants operating on the Polish market. The number of robots in the lines may differ due to different volumes being palletized.
It is worth mentioning that the robots perform additional functions during the palletizing and packaging process, e.g.:
- they form trays and put products on them
- they stack products on pallets according to a large number of switchable templates (even a few dozen), and switching between the stacking templates does not stop the line
- they place washers, spacers, and top covers on palletized stacks
The capacity of the palletizing and packaging lines is adjusted to the course of the manufacturing process. Any future production growth is worth taking into account at the designing stage. Thanks to such an approach, it will be possible to increase the capacity of the line without any unnecessary technical difficulties, and thus to optimize the financial expenses intended for the investment project.
