The stage of assembly and commissioning of the palletizing and packaging line at the customer’s plant is carried out according to a detailed plan, specifying both the work schedule and the resources required for its implementation. It is led by a team of highly qualified Wikpol specialists. Mechanical engineers, electricians, automation engineers, PLC programmers, robot programmers and application programmers all take part in it.
After installing the equipment in accordance with the design documentation and after configuring the machines, comprehensive testing of systems determining the efficient and reliable operation of the line, including controls and software integrated with the customer’s software, begins. The safety system is also checked. The next step is the start-up of the line, during which the production parameters are optimized in order to achieve the assumed efficiency.
In order for the commissioned line to operate reliably for a long time, it is necessary to monitor its operation and to regularly carry out inspections and maintenance of machines.
