This year’s Wikpol Academy of Robotics took place on October 24-25 and continued its mission of providing participants with practical knowledge on implementing robotics in industry.
Drawing on experience from numerous projects in various sectors, we are able to share with companies a complete set of insights to help avoid costly mistakes during both the implementation and operational phases of new systems. We emphasize the importance of comprehensive investment planning covering critical production process areas.
Topics and Program
As in previous years, the Academy of Robotics focused on the technical, staffing, and economic issues essential for successful automation investments.
In the theoretical section, Wikpol specialists presented the investment stages from a user’s perspective and discussed key factors in the efficient operation of robotic production lines. The presentation topic “Robotics. Plan – Implement – Operate” succinctly summed up the knowledge delivered to participants succinctly summed up the knowledge delivered to participants.
Event partners, including FANUC, Festo, Siemens, Turck, and Troax, showcased new technologies and innovations supporting the broad development of production plants. They also addressed current challenges for manufacturers, such as issues around sustainable development (ESG).

Presentations and Demonstrations
Wikpol,
In the demonstration section, we showcased our high-efficiency, flexible robotic palletising line capable of handling a wide range of products, with automatic format switching. The line also features equipment for positioning handles mounted on specific package types.
We also presented our Wikar HV autonomous mobile robots designed for collaboration with packaging and palletizing lines. The use of AMRs significantly enhances intralogistics flexibility in production plants.
A highlight of our panel was the virtual reality demonstration of our robotic palletising and packaging lines, offering participants an engaging way to explore Wikpol’s technical capabilities and a chance to learn about the various solutions our company employs.
Partners
The Academy’s partners demonstrated their innovative solutions in robotics, 3D scanning, automation, and advanced drive systems.
FANUC’s presentation included a robotic palletizing station with a CRX-25iA collaborative robot equipped with a Schmalz vacuum gripper.
Turck demonstrated 3D scanning systems, with participants seeing the practical use of scanners in the demo palletizing line.
Siemens showcased and discussed their SINAMICS S200 servo drive system, suitable for many industries (e.g., automotive, battery production, packaging, handling) due to its broad power range and communication options.
Thanks
We extend our sincere thanks to all participants and partners of the Academy of Robotics 2024 for their active involvement, dedication, and exchange of valuable experiences. We look forward to welcoming you to next year’s edition!
