On 23-24 May 2024, the conference organised by the Association of Sugar Technicians will take place. Wikpol is a regular participant in this event.
The STC Conference “provides a platform for sugar industry professionals to exchange knowledge and experience.”*
The conference covers three main thematic blocks:
1. Technique and technology
2. Raw material management
3. Quality issues in the sugar industry.
Wikpol’s presentation will be in the Sugar Industry Technique and Technology block and will focus on the use of AMR in the palletisation process.
The range of issues that will be discussed within the whole area related to technique and technology is as follows:
- Energy transformation in the sugar industry taking into account new renewable energy carriers, i.e. biogas and hydrogen.
- Digitalisation as an innovative control and management tool for sugar production, including Industry 4.0 solutions contributing to the optimisation of energy consumption and thus reducing costs and atmospheric emissions.
- Latest technical solutions for the sugar industry.
