Product:

  1. Adapting the line for collecting various types of assortment, simultaneously from two packing machines,
  2. collective packing (into cartons) of 1 kg bags with potato starch; the cardboard box is to be automatically closed with a top lid,
  3. palletization of cardboard boxes with 1 kg bags,
  4. palletization of sealed packages with 1 kg bags (10 pieces), 0.5 kg (12 pcs),
  5. placing paper dividers between the layers,
  6. palletizing the bags manually possible.

Robot station:

In the line, a FANUC Robotics M410iB robot is installed, which performs the following tasks:

  • collective packaging (into cardboard boxes) of 1 kg bags with starch,
  • palletizing cardboard boxes and bags in foil wrapped collective packages.

The line reaches a capacity of 5400 bags per hour. The system has been adapted to collect various types of assortment, simultaneously from two packing machines.

Description of operation:

Collective packing of 1 kg bags

The robot picks up 10 bags previously prepared on a picking table and puts into a cardboard box, covering the cardboard box with a top cover.

Palletization of cardboard boxes and multipacks

The robot picks up a set of cardboard boxes or foil wrapped bags previously prepared (on a picking table), and places it on a pallet. By means of its handling head, the robot picks up paper dividers, which it places between the layers.
The pallets are released from the magazine by an automatic pallet feeder.
Packed pallets are being transported to the wrapper and further to the conveyors, from which they are collected by the personnel.

The line has been designed so that the robot's capabilities are utilized to the maximum.
