Dynamic checkweighers

Dynamic checkweighers (check scales) provide 100% automatic control over package weight and all this on the fly and without interrupting the production process.

With our dynamic checkweighers you can eliminate defective packages completely.

Our range of dynamic checkweighers includes the following products (with their maximum load given in brackets): EWK-0.6 (600 g), EWK-1.5 (1500 g), EWK-3 (3000 g), EWK-6 (6000 g), EWK-15 (15000 g), EWK-30 (30000 g), and EWK-60 (60000 g). Depending on the load weight, their efficiency is up to 300 loads per minute.

Our proprietary EWK-type dynamic checkweighers and Packaged Goods Control System (PAKiMAe) together form a comprehensive tool to facilitate control over the marketed packaged goods.

Our EWK-type dynamic checkweigher:

  • ensures that products within a pre-set range are forwarded to the subsequent processing stage, and those outside the accepted tolerances are discarded to a reject conveyor or a special bin,
  • is suitable for controlling various types of packaged products, both individual and in bulk
  • includes either two or three belt conveyors (depending on type and available space in your plant), with one of them being fitted with electronic scales,
  • features advanced and easily-programmable scales electronics,
  • is highly compatible with PLC controllers and computer systems. RS232, RS485, and Ethernet serial ports,
  • offers communication programs such as: Modbus (ASCII, RTU), Profibus DP, Ethernet (Modbus TCP/IP), DeviceNet,
  • is Type-Approved by the Central Office of Measures, as required for obtaining scales certification.

The main functionalities of our dynamic checkweights:

  • signalling out-of-tolerance weights,
  • counting packages/weights,
  • memorising items and sorting products,
  • processing errors in statistical terms,
  • generating feedback to packaging machines on any under- or over-weighed products.
