The International Ballooning Competition Nałęczów 2019 is part of the celebrations of the 100th anniversary of the Aeroclub of Poland, and the 450th anniversary of the Union of Lublin. The event, which was held between August 14 – 17 2019, involved approximately 35 crews. The ballooning enthusiasts could observe the efforts of the world’s best pilots, among others Daria Dudkiewicz – Goławska, Women’s World Champion from 2018. But it wasn’t just the picturesque balloons taking off in front of the Palace Baths that brought the crowds to Nałęczów. The competition was accompanied by numerous events and concerts, among which the evening competition flights, parachute jumps presented by the Lublin Flight Club, and also the performances of the band Teksasy and of Wojciech Cugowski and Olga Bończyk were particularly impressive.
We are happy that we could support the organisation of the event, which is a showcase of Nałęczów and of the Lublin Flight Club, and one of the most interesting summer events for the people in Lublin and its area.
